Thieves in town

I just wanted to write a warning to other residents of Hanwell. Two weeks ago we had some thieves break in during the day , they were obviously here for quite a long time from the amount that was taken. They broke in by putting a brick through the back window, apparently they are doing the rounds of all the small villages at the moment. Please be more aware that though rare it can happen in Hanwell.

Very much appreciate the heads up Amanda. We all need to look out for each other. I was burgled some years ago (not in Hanwell - I have only been here a few weeks) and it is a very unpleasant experience.
