As was announced at the recent Parish Council AGM, Alan Jones has kindly agreed to represent the views of the village at the next month's Persimmon Planning Appeal.

To help Alan, can I urge as many villagers as possible to post their views via this forum? Alan wants to present a non-technical local viewpoint. How do you feel this development would effect quality of life in Hanwell? What are the key issues for you?

We want to know; so PLEASE post your comments!

Hello,

We are on the cusp of purchasing a property in the village. We currently live in Balscote so we are nearby and know the area reasonably well. We are naturally very concerned along with current village residents as to the nature of the developments and how it would affect Hanwell village.
We chose to consider living in the village because of its inherent beauty and (yes) charm, but would not want a housing estate right on the doorstep.

We don't know what else to say at this point. If we move in we would be very happy to lend support for the good of the village and its people.
